The Lunch Project Foundation exists to ensure no Gold Coast child attends school hungry. We're a registered Australian charity — independent, accountable, and 100% focused on lunches.
It started in September 2023.
Our journey began in September 2023, marked by a humble yet deeply impactful mission: to ensure that no child attending school experiences hunger.
Our inspiration was born from an alarming statistic — 1 in 5 queensland kids arrive at school without a lunch. That revelation stirred a profound need to take action, so we started right here in our local Gold Coast community.
The Foundation is funded by four streams — grants, individual donations, corporate sponsorship, and our cafe partner. The Lunch Project Cafe & Catering is a separate business that donates one school lunch to the Foundation for every $25 their customers spend in store or on catering.
