How is the Foundation funded?

Four ways: grants, donations from individuals, corporate sponsorship, and contributions from The Lunch Project Cafe & Catering (a separate business that donates one lunch for every $25 spent with them).

Is the Foundation the same as The Lunch Project Cafe?

No. The Lunch Project Cafe & Catering is a separate business. They generously support the Foundation by donating one lunch to us for every $25 a customer spends in store or on catering — but the two organisations are legally and operationally independent.

How much does one donated lunch cost?

Each lunch costs about $7.50 to source, prepare and deliver. Every dollar of every donation goes toward more lunches for kids who need them.

Every lunch contains a poached chicken & lettuce wrap, a piece of fresh fruit, a bag of organic popcorn and a cookie or sweet treat.

Where do the lunches go?

Lunches are delivered directly to our partner primary schools across the Gold Coast. School staff discreetly identify the children who need a lunch that day.

Most volunteer roles don't involve direct work with children at schools, so a Queensland Blue Card isn't required for them. We'll let you know if a role does require one.
